Week 13 Story: Simba The Silent

In the lands of Africa, there was a big rock in which was ruled by lions. There once was a small lion cub... well at least he looked like a lion cub. We'll call him Simba and he was the son of the king lion. Simba had always been different from the other cubs. His parents knew he was different and Simba knew he was different, but they kept his specialness to themselves. If the other animals found out then Simba could not be the heir to the throne, but Simba was a social butterfly and was always around the other cubs. He was always playing with the other lion cubs and causing a ruckus. One day they were playing hide and seek. Simba was the last cub hiding and the other cubs had no idea where he was. Simba had the element of surprise on his side and he wanted to frighten the others. Once upon a time, lived a princess and her prince, on their vast piece of land. With them in their palace, lived hundreds of guards, servants, and courtiers to cater to their every needs. Next to their palace was a preparatory school. Many students would come to the palace to tour and hopefully prepare them for a life like the princess and the princes'. The princess and prince loved having an open landscape so they could get to know the students. On one sunny day, the prince and princess went for a lovely stroll along the pond that resided near the palace. As they were used to students often being around the palace, the princess told her courtiers to make sure her valuables were kept safe. Updated version of the story located at  College and Karma . Ever since Ezekiel was a young boy, he dreamed of going into the field of physics. He wanted to know everything about the interaction between matter and energy. His want to become a physicist started when his mom made him take an archery class. The energy and force that the bow had before and after the arrow was shot out had interested him. Going into college, his major was physics and he knew as soon as he was skilled enough in the subject, he wanted to be an undergrad research assistant to the physics professor he had looked up to all his high school and collegiate years. That professor was Dr. Davis. Dr. Davis was a highly respected professor and one of the top physicists in the country. Tommy was a freshman getting ready to make the biggest decision of his life... deciding which fraternity he would join. You had the brothers of Psi Phi Pi or the brothers of Kappa Rho. Sitting atop of the food chain of Psi Phi Pi were 5 men: Yuri, Blake, Arvin, Nate, and Sage. Yuri was the president of the frat as he was a born leader and had the most virtuous personalities and characteristics. He always wanted to deal with conflict and settle disputes through dialogue rather than getting physical. Blake was second in command as he was well respected thanks to his strength and devotion to his friends. That being said, his strong devotion sometimes opposed Yuri's decisions if he did not agree with them, but he was always loyal to his brothers. Arvin was the most popular in the house. Everyone envied what they had and wanted a relationship like theirs, even if it meant ruining their relationship. Week 2 Story: An Afternoon of the Quad

Joe, a junior at the school, was taking a quick nap at the courtyard of the student union. Joe had a big exam coming up so he was studying all hours of the day and night and he was exhausted. John and Johnny, some guys who lived in the same dorm as Joe, saw Joe sleeping there and wanted to mess with him. While Joe slept, John and Johnny went to the store to get some supplies. Joe was having restless sleep as he was dreaming that the student union building was collapsing. This awful dream caused Joe to wake in a fright. Just in time as Joe woke, John and Johnny set off firecrackers hoping to frighten Joe. Not only did the loud noise scare Joe, he panicked and believed that his dream of the student union collapsing was real.
